HOW TO PREPARE YOUR BOAT FOR SHIPMENT

 

1.      All items inside your boat such as galley utensils, plates, cups

etc. should be PROPERLY secured.  No fire extinguishers or firearms may be stored on the boat during shipment.

 

2.      All ports, hatches and windows should be locked shut and the

locking device taped over.

 

3.      We do not assume responsibility for canvas covers or tops,

which remain topside during shipment.

 

4.      We cannot assume responsibility for missing items (Personal

belongings and equipment).

 

5.      Fuel and water should be no more than 1/4 full.  The US Coast

Guard and DOT classifies gasoline as a flammable substance and requires less than 1/4 full.

 

6.      Cabinet doors and drawers and all lockers inside the craft

should be secured shut.

 

7.      Plastic or plexiglass fly bridge windshields should be removed

and stored inside the craft.

 

8.      We do not assume liability for boats that are already damaged,

and/or rotten; wood construction or fiberglass construction.   

 

9.      Loading and unloading the boat is the responsibility of the

owner of the boat.  Owner  must make their own arrangements to pay for these services. (Cranes, Lifts, Etc. If Needed)

 

10.  We allow (1) one hour for loading and (1) one hour for off-

loading.  Additional time may be charged at $500.00 per hour.

 

 

      We would be glad to answer any questions you might have concerning the transportation of your boat.  Our many years of experience will give you a safe delivery.

 

      I have read and AGREE to “HOW TO PREPARE YOUR BOAT FOR    SHIPMENT LIST” and will do the following.
